Allison + Nick chose to have their wedding ceremony and day at a beautiful and fun location in Cozumel at Mr Sanchos Beach Club. Mr Sanchos has a ton to do for all ages! Water sports and fun for the whole family, all inclusive, amazing food, and a wonderful pool with a swim up bar! They offer private ceremony space away from all the other guests that is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and little paths that offer spectacular views of the Caribbean ocean.
The wedding planner in Cozumel was amazing and helped with every step in the planning, and was very friendly the entire day that we spent at the beach club. If you are planning a destination wedding in Cozumel be sure to contact Cozumel Wedding Planner!
The wedding week was also spent on Carnival Cruise Lines Celebration ship, which is currently the largest in their fleet at has numerous activities to get involved in, including fun on a rollercoaster and waterslides too! Allison and Nick had their reception dinner at one of their wonderful restaurants and later in the week their goodbye cocktail hour in the piano bar that hosted amazing appetizers and drinks. We enjoyed fun the whole week on the ship and also had stops at the ports of Roatan, Honduras, Costa Maya, Mexico, and of course Cozumel.
What an amazing wedding week with Allison and Nick and their sweet family and friends who embraced us as their people all week!
Thinking about having your wedding during a Cruise?
Different cruise lines offer different packages depending on your wants and needs for your wedding or elopement. You can get married right on the cruise ship, or choose to have your celebration at a resort at one of the ports you stop at. For Allison and Nicks wedding, they chose to have their wedding in Cozumel, at Mr. Sanchos Beach Club. It was an early morning as we started the day around 6am for hair, by Hair by Cassie, and makeup.
Allie and Nick did not want to see each other before their ceremony, so we drove separately to the wedding venue once the ship arrived at port. Mr. Sanchos does have a cute little getting ready room to wait in until the ceremony started. A Mariachi Band played some fun and festive music for the bride and groom to walk down the aisle to, and also played during the day for some background tunes.
The ceremony was at 9 in the morning on the private beach on the beautiful Caribbean, a picture perfect backdrop for a destination wedding! After their vows, we took family photos and photos of the bride and groom around the area, there are many little pathways surrounded by tropical palm trees and beautiful scenery for wedding photography!
After taking their wedding photos on the beach and other locations, it was time for a fun afternoon! Mr. Sanchos has a wonderful pool with a swim up bar, and their are other spots to get refreshing beverages, and all the food you can eat, including yummy coconut shrimp!
The beach provides many lounge chairs to relax on and lots of fun water toys, including a "blow up" mountain to climb up and jump off of!
After an amazing afternoon in the sun we rode back to our ship and got ready, for a reception dinner on the Carnival Cruise Lines Celebration. We took photos on the ships fun roller coaster and other unique spots around the ship, then it was time for dinner!
What a fun wedding day! We also ventured with the couple and their friends and family for other photo opportunities at different times during the cruise.
Cruise weddings are not for people who really enjoy being alone and desire a more private elopement or destination wedding, as you are around your guests and people all the time! However, its a fun vacation and full of memories for sure! When looking for your cruise wedding photographer, I would highly recommend someone who is very flexible and can have fun at all times! Cruise weddings are full of adventure, amazing locations, and memories to last a lifetime, have a cruise wedding photographer that is willing to capture it all, not just your wedding day!

Having fun after the wedding at Mr. Sanchos with my couple!
